Zelensky arrives in Cyprus for EU leaders' meeting

President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Cyprus to take part in a special meeting of European Union leaders.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported to journalists by presidential spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov.

"The President has arrived in Cyprus to participate in a special meeting of EU leaders," he said.

Nykyforov noted that Zelensky plans to meet with Gitanas Nausėda, as well as Denmark's acting Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

In addition, a trilateral meeting is expected with António Costa and Ursula von der Leyen.

As previously reported, the European Union has approved a EUR 90 billion loan for Ukraine and adopted its 20th package of sanctions against Russia.
