Trump calls Russian mass strike on Ukraine “terrible”

U.S. President Donald Trump has described Russia’s large-scale air attack on Ukraine on April 16 as “terrible”.

According to Ukrinform, Trump said this during a briefing with journalists.

“I think it’s terrible,” he commented on the latest Russian bombardment.

As previously reported, Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted and neutralized 19 Kh-101 cruise missiles, eight Iskander-M ballistic missiles, four Iskander-K cruise missiles, and 636 drones during the Russian attack on April 16.

According to latest data, in Kyiv, the number of injured rose to 65, with four people confirmed killed. In Dnipro, the death toll increased to five after a man’s body was recovered from the rubble.

In Odesa, at least 26 people were injured in the overnight attack, with reports of missing persons.
