Ukraine to discuss security cooperation with European partners in coming weeks – Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that in the coming weeks Ukraine will work with European partners on joint production and coordination in security actions.
According to Ukrinform, Zelensky made this statement in a video address.
"We are currently preparing the European component of our security proposals, which were presented and accepted in recent weeks during negotiations in the Middle East and in Gulf countries. They are currently at war – unfortunately. Their protection required urgent expertise and urgent response. We ensured this – Ukrainian expertise proved effective – this is recognized by all. As a result, there are long-term agreements on cooperation, specifically on security cooperation. The same is needed in Europe," Zelensky said.
He added that the coming weeks will be dedicated to such work with European partners: joint production, defense modernization, defense financing programs, and coordination of security actions.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Zelensky had also stated that Ukraine is preparing proposals to strengthen the document on security guarantees.
