PM Svyrydenko and Klöckner discuss cooperation on drone production and AFU training

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko and German Bundestag President Julia Klöckner discussed strengthening cooperation in the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles and interceptor drones.

According to Ukrinform, Svyrydenko announced this on Facebook.

She thanked Germany for its consistent support of Ukraine, especially for its defense assistance, which is super important for the security of Ukraine and all of Europe.

They talked about working more closely together on making drones and interceptor drones, as well as dual-use products.

“We also see prospects for cooperation in the field of military training: German instructors are already training our military personnel. At the same time, the Defense Forces have unique experience that they are ready to share with European partners to strengthen common security,” Svyrydenko said.

She informed Klöckner about the Regional Energy Sustainability Plans that the Ukrainian government is implementing together with the regions and communities.

"Germany can play a leading role in this work. The aid packages that Germany continues to provide to Ukraine are already strengthening the energy autonomy of communities and will help prepare for the next heating seasons amid constant threats from Russia," the prime minister stressed.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Bundestag President Klöckner, who is visiting Ukraine for the first time as speaker of the German parliament.
