Ukrainian experts to arrive in Middle East next week – Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukrainian experts would arrive in the Middle East as early as the following week.
The Ukrainian President made the statement during a joint briefing with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Rob Jetten in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I think next week, when the experts are on the ground – I mean Ukrainian experts in the Middle East – they will assess the situation and provide assistance, because they are arriving with the capability to help immediately. Then we will move forward,” Zelensky said.
He also stressed that Ukraine is raising the issue of exchanging certain defense assets that are in short supply in Ukraine but available in the region.
“You know which capabilities we lack, and we understand which ones are in short supply in the Gulf countries. So, we are also discussing this track,” the President noted.
As reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine was ready to share interceptor drones with partners in the Middle East in exchange for missiles for the Patriot system.
