Zelensky: Ukraine will help countries under attack from Iran

Security support for countries under attack from Iran will allow Ukraine to expand its security cooperation.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a video address, according to Ukrinform.

"We are constantly working with our partners on our ability to provide protection to countries that are currently under attack from Iran. Rustem Umerov is coordinating contacts with partners in the Middle East, in the Gulf region, and we are also talking to the United States of America. Security support from Ukraine will be provided. The main thing is that this will allow us to expand our security cooperation with partners: by protecting countries from the Iranian regime, we are adding to our own defense capabilities," Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine also announced a series of diplomatic contacts in the near future.

“We are preparing other diplomatic contacts for this and the coming weeks. Europe needs more coordination, more mutual support, and more of its own strength—Europe needs to be more active,” Zelensky emphasized.
