In Kyiv, Zelensky and foreign guests participate in prayer for Ukraine

With the participation of President Volodymyr Zelensky, the first lady, and foreign guests, events marking the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion began at St. Sophia Cathedral.

The head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifanii, addressed the participants in the prayer for Ukraine: "Almighty Lord, hear our prayers, look upon our country, Ukraine, in this time of great trials. Bless and strengthen our soldiers, the President, the authorities, the government, and all our Ukrainian people who are resisting the insidious Russian aggressor on land, at sea, and in the air. We beg you, grant us victory in your name and establish a just peace."

Representatives of the largest churches and religious organizations in Ukraine are present at the prayer for Ukraine.

As reported, 11 high-ranking foreign guests arrived in Kyiv today to participate in events dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion, including European Union leaders and leaders of Northern Europe and the Baltic states. Many other countries and organizations are represented at different levels.

As reported, four years ago, on February 24, 2022, at around 3:40 a.m., the first convoy of Russian tanks entered the Luhansk region, and Ukrainians in many cities woke up to the first enemy missile attacks.

During four years of full-scale war, Ukraine has inflicted considerable losses on Russia in terms of manpower, weapons, and enemy equipment.

According to the General Staff, the total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to February 24, 2026, amount to about 1,261,420 soldiers.
