Second day of trilateral talks begins in Geneva, Umerov says

The second day of trilateral talks involving representatives of Ukraine, the US, and Russia has begun in Geneva.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov.

“In Geneva, the second day of trilateral negotiations has begun. Consultations are taking place in working groups by areas within the political and military tracks. We are working on clarifying the parameters and mechanisms of the decisions discussed yesterday,” Umerov stated.

According to him, the Ukrainian delegation is ready for substantive work. The results of the meeting will be announced later, the NSDC secretary assured.

As reported by Ukrinform, the first day of trilateral talks between representatives of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia ended in Geneva on the evening of February 17. After the trilateral talks in Geneva, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov held separate meetings with representatives of the United States and European partners—France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
