Estonia’s Foreign Minister arrives in Ukraine
Estonia’s Foreign Minister, Margus Tsahkna, has arrived in Ukraine on a visit.
According to Ukrinform, he reported this on the social media platform X.
The Estonian diplomat emphasized that he wanted to witness how a nation keeps going amid cold and darkness, under constant threat to life, facing losses and horrors, with air raid sirens constantly reminding everyone how close the danger remains.
“Ukraine continues its resistance against brutal aggression, refusing to allow terror and imperialism to prevail. This fight is not only about Ukraine’s security. It is about Europe’s security,” Tsahkna stressed.
He highlighted that Estonia’s gratitude to Ukraine for standing firm is immeasurable, and that his country will do everything possible to support it.
“Today, a sign inside a random building said everything Ukrainians are defending. Written plainly on the wall was the size of their country: 603,628 square kilometers. Period,” the minister noted.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and his Estonian counterpart Hanno Pevkur discussed a new security aid package for Ukraine, which will include drones and counter-drone systems.
