Second day of talks between Ukraine, US, Russia begins in Abu Dhabi

The second day of trilateral meetings involving representatives of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia has begun in the United Arab Emirates.

According to Ukrinform, Rustem Umerov, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, announced this on Facebook.

"The second day of negotiations in Abu Dhabi has begun. We are working in the same formats as yesterday: trilateral consultations, working groups, and further coordination of positions. The results will follow," Umerov wrote.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky approved the scope of the talks and specific tasks for the Ukrainian negotiating team ahead of the new round of trilateral meetings in the United Arab Emirates.

The previous trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia in Abu Dhabi took place on January 23-24. The talks focused on the parameters for ending the war. The military also outlined a list of issues for further meetings.
