Meeting between presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania takes place in Vilnius
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Vilnius, where Zelensky arrived to participate in events marking the 163rd anniversary of the January Uprising.
A video of the meeting was released by the press service of the Office of the President, Ukrinform reports.
The first ladies of Ukraine and Lithuania also attended the meeting.
A trilateral meeting between Zelensky and the presidents of Poland and Lithuania is scheduled for 3:20 p.m. today in Vilnius.
As reported, Polish President Karol Nawrocki will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Lithuania on Sunday. According to Rafał Leszkiewicz, Polish presidential spokesperson, the presidents are meeting not only to participate in the commemorative events, but also to discuss important political issues.
