Zelensky names Donbas as key issue during Abu Dhabi talks
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that issues related to Donbas will be discussed during negotiations between the teams of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia today and tomorrow in Abu Dhabi.
Zelensky stated this while answering journalists' questions, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The issue of Donbas is key. It will be discussed, as well as the modality of how the three sides see it in Abu Dhabi today and tomorrow," Zelensky said.
He noted that ahead of the talks, last night, he spoke with the head of the Ukrainian negotiating team, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.
"I spoke with the team, with the head of the team, Umerov, in the morning and at night. He will work and at every stage of certain talks or agreements will give me the appropriate signals. We will share this with you," he said.
As reported, the teams of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia will hold a two-day meeting in the United Arab Emirates.
