Witkoff, Kushner arrive in Moscow for talks with Putin
U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and U.S. President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner have arrived in the Russian capital for negotiations.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the BBC Russian service.
It is noted that the aircraft used by President Trump’s Envoy Steve Witkoff landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport.
Witkoff and Kushner are expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the near future.
As Ukrinform previously reported, citing Bloomberg, Witkoff and Kushner were planning to visit Moscow in the coming days. According to the outlet’s sources, they are expected to present Putin with the latest draft of a peace settlement plan developed by representatives of Ukraine and the United States.
The discussions are expected to focus on security guarantees to be provided to Ukraine by the United States and Europe, as well as Ukraine’s postwar reconstruction.
