Zelensky and Trump meet in Davos

A meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

This was reported by the President's spokesman Serhii Nikiforov, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“The meeting has ended,” Nikiforov said.

Earlier, he reported on the start of negotiations between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that three documents, namely a peace agreement, security guarantees, and a prosperity agreement, are almost ready.

US President's Special Representative Stephen Witkoff said today that “significant progress” had been made in negotiations to end the Russian-Ukrainian war, with one issue remaining contentious.
