Zelensky’s meeting with Trump begins in Davos

A meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump has begun on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

This was announced by the President's spokesman Serhii Nikiforov, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

Nikiforov confirmed that Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump had begun talks.

“The meeting has begun,” he said.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that three documents, namely a peace agreement, security guarantees, and a prosperity agreement, are almost ready.

US President's Special Representative Stephen Witkoff said today that “significant progress” has been made in negotiations to end the Russian-Ukrainian war, with one issue remaining contentious.
