Czech President reviews weapons used by Ukrainian intelligence

During his official visit to Ukraine, President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel visited the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Directorate.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the DIU on Telegram.

The Czech delegation was welcomed by DIU Chief Oleh Ivashchenko.

“During the visit, Petr Pavel was shown samples of weapons from Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex, which are already actively used by the Defense Intelligence in combat against Russian invaders at sea and in the air,” the report said.

In particular, Pavel was shown maritime drones of the Magura V5, V6, and V7 types, which have demonstrated to the world their ability to destroy enemy ships and aircraft, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, including the Liutyi and Bober, which operate over the most remote areas controlled by Russia.

Ivashchenko also briefed the Czech delegation on the current security situation and provided DIU’s assessments of Russia’s future plans and intentions.

As previously reported, Czech President Petr Pavel arrived in Kyiv on Friday as part of his visit to Ukraine. He held a series of meetings with Ukrainian leadership, discussing various areas of cooperation.
