Zelensky discusses rotations in diplomatic corps with Sybiha

President Volodymyr Zelensky heard a report from Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the results of Ukraine's diplomatic work in 2025 and discussed rotations in the diplomatic corps with him.

Zelensky stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"A report from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha. We discussed the results of our diplomatic work in 2025 and the key tasks for this year. The most important thing is to ensure that every arrangement in Ukraine's interests, every agreement, and every partnership works to its full potential," Zelensky noted.

He added that rotations in the diplomatic corps were also discussed.

"The Minister will present the relevant candidates shortly. Given the need for consistently effective work by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, a candidate for the position of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs will also be selected. I expect proposals for a decision," Zelensky said.

As Ukrinform reported, on January 5 Sergiy Kyslytsya was appointed First Deputy Head of the Office of the President; previously, he had served as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Zelensky also met with former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, and they agreed to define areas for further cooperation.
