Zelensky discusses possibilities for systemic development of SBU with Khmara

Today, President Volodymyr Zelensky, during a meeting with the head of the SBU Special Operations Center 'A,' Yevhenii Khmara, discussed opportunities for the systemic development of the SBU and scaling the experience of Ukrainian special forces.

Zelensky reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"We will scale up the experience of Ukrainian special operations forces and the CSO 'A' of the Security Service of Ukraine. Today, Yevhenii and I also discussed additional opportunities for the institutional development of the Security Service of Ukraine and the special operations we are currently preparing," Zelensky said.

He also expressed gratitude to Khmara and all our special forces soldiers for their extremely significant combat work throughout all the years of the full-scale war.

"Ukraine is achieving the necessary results in its defense, and all our warriors who make this possible deserve the highest respect and gratitude," he emphasized.

According to media reports, Khmara is one of the potential candidates for the post of head of the SBU.

As reported, today Vasyl Maliuk announced that he is stepping down as head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
