Kolomoisky left in custody as appeal is rejected

A court of appeal has left former PrivatBank shareholder Ihor Kolomoisky in custody.

Kolomoisky's lawyer, Oleksandr Lysak, told this to an Ukrinform correspondent.

He confirmed that Kolomoisky will remain in custody and noted that the decision was made "outside the validity period of the ruling."

"Today, the court considered the appeal against a ruling issued by the Pecherskyi District Court back on August 25, and the validity period of that ruling expired on October 18," the lawyer said.
