Palisa discusses joint production of drones and ammunition with representatives of the French defence industry
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa held a meeting with representatives of the French defence industry, with joint production projects topping the agenda.
Palisa reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“We met with representatives of the French defence sector — a continuation of the negotiations launched during the visit to Paris with the President. Together with Deputy Minister of Defence Hanna Hvozdiar, Presidential Adviser Oleksandr Kamyshin, and representatives from the General Staff and the Air Force, we focused on what the military needs on the battlefield at present. Not in theory, not at some point in the future, but under the real conditions of this war,” Palisa said.
According to him, the discussion centred on technology and joint production. “This includes strike drones, interceptor drones, high-precision artillery shells, and systems incorporating elements of artificial intelligence — everything that shapes the effectiveness of frontline units,” he noted.
Palisa underscored that Ukraine currently offers a unique opportunity to jointly produce and refine cutting-edge weapons directly under real combat conditions. He added that Ukraine’s partners recognise this, which is why cooperation continues to deepen.
As reported by Ukrinform, last month, Deputy Minister of Defence Serhii Boiev discussed the development of joint defence-industry projects with Colonel Frédéric Bal, the Armaments Attaché of France, and Thomas Moreau, the Representative of the GICAT (Land and Air-Land Defence and Security Industries Association) in Ukraine.
