Zelensky discusses preparations for new US negotiations with Costa

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed contacts with partners and Ukraine's upcoming negotiations with the US with European Council President António Costa.

The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“We exchanged information about our contacts with partners, there are many important details,” Zelensky said.

According to him, the Ukrainian team is preparing for new meetings with the American side within the framework of the negotiation track.

“We hope to work just as meaningfully to end this war with a reliable and dignified peace,” he stressed.

The president added that Ukraine and the European Council have agreed to continue close coordination.

He thanked Costa for his solidarity and support.

As reported, European Commission spokeswoman Paula Pinho said that the EU is participating in consultations and ensuring that the bloc's position and Ukraine's related interests are communicated to partners involved in the peace talks.
