Umerov: We expect arrangements for Zelensky's visit to US in November

The Ukrainian authorities expect arrangements for President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the United States in order to finalize the last stages and reach an agreement on a peace deal with US President Donald Trump.

According to Ukrinform, Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov reported this on Telegram.

"We look forward to organizing a visit of Ukraine's President to the US at the earliest suitable date in November to complete final steps and make a deal with President Trump," he wrote.

Umerov noted that the Ukrainian and US delegations had reached a common understanding on the key conditions of the peace deal.

"We appreciate the productive and constructive meetings held in Geneva between the Ukrainian and U.S. delegations, as well as President Trump's steadfast efforts to end the war. Our delegations reached a common understanding on the core terms of the agreement discussed in Geneva. We now count on the support of our European partners in our further steps," Umerov said.
