Lithuanian Foreign Minister arrives in Kyiv
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys arrived in Ukraine on Friday, September 19, for a visit.
The diplomat announced this on social media X, where he also posted a video recorded on St. Michael's Square in Kyiv, according to Ukrinform.
"Greetings from Ukraine!" he wrote.
He also praised the freedom-loving spirit, courage, and resilience of Kyiv residents and Ukrainians in general.
"Despite continuous Russian aggression and deadly nightly attacks, Ukrainians don’t give up on life - they work, learn, create, rebuild. Their courage defends not only Ukraine, but all of Europe," Lithuanian Foreign Minister stated.
Budrys assured that Lithuania stands with Ukraine everywhere and always, and will continue to do so until peace and victory are achieved.
As reported by Ukrinform, during the Dronatonas campaign organized by Blue/Yellow, Lithuania raised €1 million to purchase drones for Ukraine.
