Zelensky starts talks with PM Fiala in Prague
President Volodymyr Zelensky has started talks with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala in Prague.
This was reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
The parties are expected to discuss all aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, including the Czech initiative to supply Ukraine with ammunition.
Later in the day, Zelensky will also meet with the leadership of Czech defense companies.

Meanwhile, today the President of Ukraine has already met with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, Marketa Pekárová Adamová, and is scheduled to meet with the Speaker of the Senate, Miloš Vystřcíl.
In the afternoon, Zelensky will talk to students of Charles University and the Ukrainian community.
In addition, the Ukrainian leader's program includes a meeting with representatives of the ANO opposition movement. As a reminder, parliamentary elections will be held in the Czech Republic in the fall, in which ANO and its leader, former Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, have a high chance of winning the support of a large number of voters.

Meanwhile, the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska will speak at the international conference “Global Health Initiative for Ukraine” on assistance to the Ukrainian healthcare system.
As reported, the day before, on May 4, the President of Ukraine met with Czech President Petr Pavel. This is Zelensky's second visit to Prague, having previously visited the Czech capital in July 2023.
