Yermak discusses Ukrainian Peace Formula with Korean President’s envoy

Head of Presidential Office Andriy Yermak discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula with the director of the Office for National Security under the President of the Republic of Korea, Cho Tae-yong.

This was reported by the Presidential Office's press service, Ukrinform saw.

Yermak noted that the recent visit to Ukraine by the leader of the Republic of Korea was successful and extremely important for the development of relations between the two states, which are at an unprecedentedly high level.

"It is important that during the visit the President of the Republic of Korea took his time to visit the sites near Kyiv, where he was able to see firsthand the consequences of the crimes committed by the Russian aggressor on the territory of Ukraine," said the head of the Presidential Office.

He told the interlocutor about the preparation of the next meeting of the national security advisers of the leaders of the two states regarding the implementation of Ukraine's initiatives to restore a stable and just peace based on respect for the UN Charter and international law.

Yermak emphasized that Ukraine continues active work on the implementation of the Peace Formula of President Volodymyr Zelensky and on the preparation of the Global Peace Summit.

The parties also coordinated cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea in the humanitarian and economic spheres.

As reported, the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol together with his spouse Kim Kong-hee paid a visit to Ukraine on July 15.
