Kuleba, Stoltenberg discuss content of NATO's decision on Ukraine's membership perspective

Minister for Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has discussed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg the possible content of the Alliance's decision at the upcoming summit in Vilnius regarding Ukraine's membership perspective.

The Ukrainian minister wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“Call with Jens Stoltenberg. We are working closely with Secretary General and NATO capitals to make Vilnius a success. We focused entirely on the possible content of NATO’s decision regarding Ukraine’s membership perspective. Ukraine is an asset to NATO; we will make it stronger,” the minister said.

As reported, an upcoming NATO summit will take place in Vilnius on July 11-12, 2023. Ukraine expects its NATO allies to provide security guarantees, as well as a clear perspective of moving towards full membership in the Alliance.
