Estonia’s top diplomat arrives on visit to Kyiv

Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsakhna of Estonia has arrived in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

That’s according to the head of Ukraine’s diplomacy, Dmytro Kuleba, who broke the news on Twitter.

"Good to see Margus Tsakhkna in Kyiv. Estonia is a great friend of ours," Ukrainian minister wrote.

Kuleba added that the main topics during the meeting with his Estonian counterpart were Ukraine's accession to NATO and sanctions on Russia’s missile and drone industry.

As Ukrinform reported, earlier in May, Tsakhna said NATO member states should define concrete steps for Ukraine to join the Alliance.

“It’s not enough anymore just to repeat the already existing position that Ukraine is welcomed to NATO. We must move forward to give a strong message (on Kyiv’s membership – ed.)” when the leaders gather for the NATO summit in Vilnius this summer, Tsakhna said.
