Ukrainian president meets with Swedish defense minister

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a meeting with Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson.

The head of state reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"A meeting with Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson. Important, priority issues: jets coalition, situation on the front lines, necessary weapons, peace formula, Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, support for Sweden. We are getting stronger every day," Zelensky said.

Earlier reports said that Sweden would continue to coordinate the efforts of EU countries to provide military aid to Ukraine, which remains a key priority of the Swedish Presidency of the EU, and would also contribute to taking into account the lessons learned from the Russian aggression against Ukraine in order to strengthen the European security and defense system.
