Zelensky appoints SBU deputy head, dismisses head of SBU office in Khmelnytskyi region

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Serhiy Naumiuk as deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

The corresponding decree, No.298/2023, was published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.

"To appoint Naumiuk Serhiy Anatoliyovych as Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine," the document reads.

The President also signed decree No.297/2023 to dismiss Taras Tsiutsiura from the post of head of the SBU office in Khmelnytskyi region.

In addition, the President awarded the rank of brigadier general to Colonel Anatoly Sandurskyi, the SBU deputy head (decree No. 300/2023) and to Colonel Viktor Dorovskyi, the head of the SBU office in Odesa region (decree No. 299/2023).

According to data from open sources, Serhii Naumiuk previously headed the NABU detective unit and was a candidate for the position of National Anti-Corruption Bureau director.
