Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, called on parliamentarians of the Swedish Riksdag to facilitate the handover of weapons to Ukraine.

He made the corresponding call during a speech in the Swedish Parliament, the text of which was released by the press service of the Rada Office, Ukrinform reports.

"Russia lives by the totalitarian dogmas of historical revenge not only for its military defeats in the past, but even for the fact that someone lives better than it," said Parliament Speaker.

He expressed the opinion that not only Ukraine and neighboring states are under threat but also those to whom Russia "cannot forgive to its own backwardness and totalitarianism."

Stefanchuk is convinced that the enemy must see the most resolute rebuff.

“Give us even more Archer howitzers to end this war with our common victory! Give us your Leopards to push the enemy beyond our borders. Give us your Gripen to defend the skies over Ukraine," stressed Stefanchuk.
