Ukraine terminates another CIS agreement

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the withdrawal of Ukraine from the agreement on cooperation of the CIS member states in the fight against crime in transport.

Taras Melnychuk, permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Ukraine has withdrawn from the Agreement on Cooperation of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the Fight against Crime in Transport," Melnychuk wrote.

This agreement was signed in Astana on September 15, 2004.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine previously terminated two CIS agreements - the Convention on the transfer of persons suffering mental disorders for compulsory treatment and the Agreement on the procedure for settling disputes related to business activities.
