Russian aggression must be stopped once and for all - Stoltenberg

No one knows when Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine will end, but it is obvious that this aggressive trend in Russia's behavior must be stopped once and for all.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this in a joint statement with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on Tuesday, April 25, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Today, we will also talk about Russia's war of aggression, and the importance of standing by Ukraine. Last week, I was in Kyiv. My message to President [Volodymyr] Zelensky was clear. NATO stands with Ukraine. Today and for as long as it takes. We do not know when the war will end. But we know that Russian aggression is a toxic pattern that must be stopped once and for all," Stoltenberg said.

He noted that Georgia and the Georgian people understand this very well.

"Ukraine is upholding its right to self-defense under the UN Charter. And we expect all NATO partners to support this aim," Stoltenberg added.
