Zelensky, Meloni discuss bilateral, international initiatives

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni have discussed bilateral and international initiatives.

Zelensky announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"I had a productive call with Giorgia Meloni. We discussed our bilateral & international initiatives. The path to peace in Ukraine is the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory & our Peace Formula implementation. Thank you, Italian friends, for your support. Let's keep it up!" Zelensky wrote.

Meloni stated at a press conference in Kyiv on February 21 that Italy was working to organize a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine, which is to be held in April.

Speaking in the Senate on March 21, Meloni said that Italy would support Ukraine in the face of Russian attacks, regardless of whether the choice affects the government's approval rating.
