Zelensky appoints head of Chernihiv city military administration

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Dmytro Bryzhynskyi as head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration in Chernihiv region.

The relevant resolution, No.19/2023-rp, was published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.

"To appoint Dmytro Bryzhynskyi as head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Chernihiv region," the document says.

As reported, on February 7, President Zelensky established the Chernihiv City Military Administration.

Dmytro Bryzhynskyi is a colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2014, he has taken part in combat actions during Russia’s war against Ukraine.

In September 2022, he headed the department of operations management of the Ground Forces Command Headquarters.
