President Zelensky believes Ukraine will join NATO after victory

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed confidence that Ukraine will join NATO after its victory in the war.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with senior members of the U.S. largest investment bank, J.P. Morgan, and an online investment summit organized by J.P. Morgan, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We believe we will join NATO sooner than all the leaders decide that our package of security guarantees is the right one. Because they make decisions slowly, it is red tape… I believe we will be in NATO after victory,” Zelensky said.

In his words, Ukrainians showed how strong their people, their society and their army are.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine continues to receive NATO-standard weapons from Western partners, namely artillery, air defense systems, etc.

The Head of State also noted that Ukraine is expected to join the EU as soon as in two years.
