Zelensky discusses Ukraine's needs for weapons with European Council President

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky informed President of the European Council Charles Michel about the situation at the front and the need for weapons.

“During a phone call with President of the European Council Charles Michel, I informed him about the situation on the battlefield and Ukraine's current needs in armaments. We agreed on joint efforts to implement the Peace Formula & discussed expectations from the upcoming EU–Ukraine Summit,” Zelensky posted on Twitter.

Earlier, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen stated that the European Commission and the EU as a whole consistently adhere to the position that Ukraine should receive from allies and partners all the necessary weapons and equipment to repel Russian aggression.
