Czech PM says it's a duty for Western countries to fully support Ukraine

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala has said that supporting Ukraine in the war against Russia is the duty of Western countries.

That's according to Radio Prague International, Ukrinform reports.

"I don't see many other solutions except that Ukraine will win in this fair defense. I consider it the duty of Western countries to fully support Ukraine, because it is waging a fierce war against an enemy that is superior in numbers," Fiala said.

He also spoke in favor of preserving the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier thanked the Czech Republic and Prime Minister Petr Fiala for supporting Ukraine on its road to the European Union during the Czech presidency of the EU.
