Kuleba to take part in EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will take part in the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union on January 23.

"I received an invitation from my European colleague Josep Borrell to participate in the first meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in 2023, which will be held on January 23. It is already a regular tradition that the Ukrainian minister participates in almost every meeting of this format," Kuleba said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to Kuleba, this is a manifestation of trust, which also proves that Ukraine is an equal participant in European security policy. The minister also emphasized that Ukraine and the European Union together solve key issues and shape the European agenda on the topic of European defense.

As reported, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, said that holding the Ukraine-EU summit in Kyiv on February 3, 2023 would be a powerful signal that the support for Ukraine is a priority for Europe.
