Kuleba invites new OSCE chairman to Ukraine

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba Ukraine has congratulated Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani on assuming the 2023 OSCE Chairpersonship and invited him to visit Ukraine.

Kuleba wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“Dear Bujar Osmani, I congratulate you on assuming the 2023 OSCE Chairpersonship. Looking forward to welcoming you in Ukraine in your new capacity, as well as working together on strengthening OSCE’s response to Russian aggression and implementing Volodymyr Zelensky’s Peace formula,” Kuleba wrote.

He also thanked former OSCE head Rau Zbigniew "for steering the work of OSCE in 2022 — in the most principled way and in the most difficult circumstances of Russia’s full-scale aggression. 2022 will be remembered for the resolve of Polish diplomacy in defending OSCE principles”.

As a reminder that the chairmanship of the OSCE rotates among the member countries on an annual basis. Since January 1, it has passed from Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Rau Zbigniew to Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani.
