Italian PM plans to visit Ukraine in early 2023

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has said that she intends to visit Ukraine early next year.

That's according to the Voice of America, Ukrinform reports.

"I will call (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelensky to present my wishes and to organize this trip that I intend to make in the first months of next year," Meloni said during a program on Italian television.

Former Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi visited Kyiv last June together with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
