Shmyhal briefs on results of Ukrainian delegation's visit to Paris

The Ukrainian authorities will continue to mobilize efforts to intensify aid provided by the coalition of allies.

"We are mobilizing efforts to intensify the aid provided by the coalition of our allies. In this context, an important event this week was the visit of the Ukrainian government delegation to Paris. Two powerful events took place there. The Solidarity with the Ukrainian People Conference initiated by the presidents of Ukraine and France, as well as the Economic Stability and Restoration Forum. In addition, we had a number of important high-level meetings and communications," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at the Government’s meeting on Friday, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, there are already concrete results of the visit: loans, grants, goods worth about 1.5 billion euros in total that will soon arrive in Ukraine. Following the solidarity conference alone, about EUR 1 billion was raised. In particular, the equipment to restore the energy infrastructure of Ukraine will be transferred in the near future.

"We also signed a number of agreements worth more than EUR 530 million for the development of the digital sphere and the rapid reconstruction of infrastructure," the Prime Minister outlined the results of his visit to France.

Together with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a memorandum was signed, which provides clear prospects of receiving $2 billion in the near future for projects of private and public companies in the following areas: trade financing for Ukrainian banks, agricultural sector, and small and medium-sized enterprises.

As reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, First Lady Olena Zelenska, and government officials made a working visit to France this week.
