Seventy-eight countries voted for, 14 – against, and 79 abstained. The distribution of votes during voting at the General Assembly meeting is expected to be approximately the same, since the countries have already expressed their position during the consideration of the draft by UNGA’s Third Committee.

The resolution of the UN General Assembly "Situation of human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine" is adopted annually, starting 2016, each time containing new provisions and wording.
