Russia trying to commit "energy genocide” but Ukraine “will stand” - Podolyak

Mykhailo Podolyak, the adviser to the head of the President's Office, says Russia is trying to commit "energy genocide", but Kyiv and Ukraine will stand.

Podolyak wrote about this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Let's be honest: RF tries to commit ‘energy genocide’, but Kyiv and Ukraine will stand," Podolyak wrote.

According to the official, the countermeasure plan is simple: air defense systems, protection of infrastructure facilities, and optimization of consumption.

"State effectively copes with these challenges. We work on solution together with partners," Podolyak emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Roman Tkachuk, chie of the Municipal Security Department of the Kyiv City State Administration, said that the situation in the capital is under control, and there is currently no reason to talk about an emergency evacuation of the population.
