Zelensky discusses with U.S. senators defense, economic aid to Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine briefed U.S. senators Christopher Coons and Rob Portman on the situation at the front and Russia's missile terror, as well as discussed with them defense and economic aid to Ukraine.

The head of state announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Had a meeting with true friends of Ukraine – U.S. Senators  @ChrisCoons and  @senrobportman. Thanked for the leadership support. We discussed the situation at the front, the missile terror by the RF and the priority areas of aid for Ukraine - defense and economic. We believe in joint victory!" emphasized Zelensky.

The president also expressed his gratitude to U.S. President Joe Biden, the White House, and his team for the powerful assistance being provided to the Ukrainian Army.
