Zelensky discusses food security with Cambodian prime minister

President Volodymyr Zelensky in a phone call with Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdeh Hun Sen stated that Ukraine will remain the guarantor of food security for the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and thanked for Ukraine's support in the UN.

“Had a phone call with Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Hun Sen. Thanked Cambodia, which is chairing the ASEAN [Association of Southeast Asian Nation] for supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, for support in the UN. Assured that we will remain the guarantor of food security for ASEAN countries,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.

As Ukrinform reported, on October 29, the Russian Federation announced its withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative, justifying its decision by an alleged attack on ships of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol Bay.
