Zelensky thanks Biden for additional security aid package for Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for $725 million in additional security assistance for Ukraine.

“Sincerely grateful to U.S. President Joe Biden, the U.S. people for providing another $725 million security aid package,” Zelensky wrote on Twitter.

According to him, Ukraine will receive, in particular, much-needed rounds for HIMARS and artillery.

“A wonderful gift for Ukraine’s Defenders Day! The Russian aggressor will be defeated, Ukraine will be free!” Zelensky wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, on October 14, U.S. President Joe Biden authorized $725 million in additional security assistance for Ukraine.
