Shmyhal discusses support for Ukraine with Spanish, Portuguese PMs

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed with his Spanish and Portuguese counterparts, Pedro Sanchez and Antonio Costa, the support for Ukraine and a joint bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

Shmyhal wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“On the sidelines of the European Political Community, we discussed with Prime Ministers of Spain Pedro Sanchez and of Portugal Antonio Costa the unity and support for Ukraine. Political, financial, sanctions support, as well as in all other areas. In particular, we discussed a joint bid to host the 2030 World Football Championship,” Shmyhal wrote.

He added that today Ukraine unites the entire European continent.

As reported, 44 European leaders gathered at the summit of the European Political Community in Prague to analyze the escalation of the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian delegation is led by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. The next summits of the European Union are planned to be held in Moldova, Spain and Great Britain.
