Korniyenko, Estonia’s defense minister discuss security situation

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniyenko and Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur discussed the current security situation and cooperation between the two countries at the level of parliaments and governments.

“Met with him (Estonia's defense minister - ed.) this morning to discuss the current security situation and cooperation between our countries at the level of parliaments and governments, as well as the challenges facing all of Europe this difficult winter," Korniyenko said.

According to him, the world is focused on continuing and increasing military support for Ukraine, as well as consolidating efforts to end the war launched by Russia on the European continent.

"Estonia pays great attention to the issue of mine clearance in Ukraine. That's why I made a thematic gift to the minister - projectile fragments from Russian shelling in Mykolaiv," the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada said.

Korniyenko expressed gratitude to Estonia for the continued support for Ukraine and for a mobile hospital that will soon appear at the front." "We are not getting tired and keep working to win," he added.
