Zelensky holds classified meeting with top defense, security officials

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine held a classified meeting with chiefs of the country’s defense and security sectors.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Security Service of Ukraine, and other agencies, Ukrinform reports with reference to the president’s press service.

"Participants in the meeting were debriefed on the operational situation at the front, as well as discussed other classified security and defense issues. Separately, we focused on the needs of the Ukrainian Army and coordination at various levels with Ukraine's international partners," the President’s Office reported.

Progress in execution of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's orders was also reviewed.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky assured the public that he had no intentions to transfer Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyi to another position.
