Baerbock: We must assume that Ukraine will need more heavy arms next summer

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, is positive that, if necessary, her country is ready to support Ukraine in repelling Russian invasion for years to come.

This was reported by DW, as seen by Ukrinform.

According to Baerbock, this includes support through heavy weapon supplies.

"Of course, I would like the war to end as soon as possible, but, unfortunately, we have to assume that Ukraine may need more heavy weapons from their friends next summer," said the head of the German Foreign Ministry, who spoke an interview with the newspaper Bild am Sonntag.
